Mason Miller died during an altercation at Briar Hill Skate Park in Ringway, Northampton, on 18 February at about 15:30 GMT, while a 17-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries.

The coroner adjourned the inquest until 12 August.

The dead man's mother formally identified his body, which has not yet been released, the inquest heard.

On Monday, three teenage boys, one aged 14 and two aged 15, were re-arrested on suspicion of unlawful act manslaughter by Northamptonshire Police.

Eleven people have so far been arrested and questioned as part of the investigation.
