Arrest as man in 80s suffers serious head injuries

An arrest has been made after a man in his 80s suffered serious head injuries.

Police were made aware of a verbal altercation that was reported to have become physical at Church Lane in Snitterby at 13:20 GMT on Tuesday.

A 53-year-old man was held on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.

The force has appealed for anyone in the area with doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage taken between 13:00 and 13:30 to get in touch.
