Police seek men who absconded prison hours apart
Thames Valley PoliceAn appeal has been made to trace two men who absconded from an open prison hours apart.
Kieron Nickels, 25, left HMP Spring Hill near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, at about 23:30 BST on Monday, Thames Valley Police said.
Anton Newell, 36, left the same site between 08:30 and 10:30 on Tuesday, according to the force.
Members of the public have been advised not to approach the men if they are seen but instead call 999.
Police described Nickels, who had been jailed for aggravated burglary, as being of slim build and about 5ft 10in (1.7m) in height.
He is known to have connections with the Romford and Dagenham areas of London.
On the top of his right arm is a tattoo of animals and butterflies.
Thames Valley PoliceNewell, who is originally from Isleworth, west London, has links to the Islington area, Merseyside and West Midlands, the force added.
He is about 6ft (1.8m) tall and has short brown hair, brown eyes and is of thin build.
He has a "C" shaped scar on his left cheek, a scar on his neck and on his right wrists, and a tattoo of two guns on his right shoulder.
