The clinics were suspended December due to fears over overcrowding

Drop-in audiology clinics on the Isle of Man's main hospital will resume on Monday, Manx Care has confirmed.

The clinics were paused in December, in favour of pre-booked appointments, due to overcrowding concerns over the number of people attending sessions at the same time.

The resumed drop-in's will run from 13:30 to 15:30 GMT on Mondays and Wednesdays - excluding bank holidays - at Noble's Hospital in Braddan.

Only registered NHS hearing instrument users would be seen during the clinics, the health care provider said.

Across the island, drop-in hearing aid clinics are still running, subject to staff availability, at locations in the south, west and north of the island.

Those sessions take place at Thie Rosien, in Port Erin, on Tuesdays, Peel Western Wellbeing Centre on Fridays, and at Ramsey Cottage Hospital each Monday and Wednesday.
