Post office raided for first time in 27 years
DJ McLaren/BBCThe owner of a village post office says her shop has been raided for the first time in 27 years.
Manjit Mal, who runs the store in Gamlingay, said she could "not accept people coming in and doing this to us" after it was broken into on Monday.
Cambridgeshire Police said four men used a crowbar to break into the building at about 21:30 BST.
Detectives believe they left in a blue Ford after the incident in Cinques Road, and it was not yet known what was taken.
Ms Mal said the last time she had to deal with an incident like this was 27 years ago when she first took over the shop in 1998.
"I'm not feeling very good; it's too much," she said.
"I'm not happy at all to see this, it's very emotional [and] very sad."
