Police have made a fresh appeal for information after a car crashed into a house near York.

At about 06:45 BST on Tuesday, a silver Land Rover Freelander collided with a man before hitting a house on The Village in Strensall.

The pedestrian sustained minor injuries in the crash, with the driver also taken to hospital. Both were discharged later the same day, police said.

The resident of the damaged property was not injured in the crash, with North Yorkshire Police appealing for any witnesses to get in touch with the force.
