Man released on bail after murder arrest

A 32-year-old man who had been arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail.

Avon and Somerset Police officers were called to an address in Sussex Place in the St Pauls area of Bristol at about 20:40 GMT on Friday where a woman was found dead.

Although formal identification has not yet been completed, the woman is believed to be in her 30s, a spokesperson said.

Anybody with information which could assist police with their continuing inquires is asked to contact the force.
