A man has died after being hit by a bus as he was walking on a road in Warwick.

A bus hit the pedestrian at the junction of Cape Road and Lower Cape, at about 14:00 BST on Tuesday.

The 59-year-old man, from Leamington Spa, died at the scene, Warwickshire Police said.

His family have been told what happened and officers were appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash to get in contact.
