Alternative hip hop group The Streets will perform their 2004 album A Grand Don't Come For Free - in full, for the very first time - at a festival next summer.

The group will headline the opening night of the three-day Rock N Roll Circus at Earlham Park in Norwich, on 21 August 2026.

The event returns to the Norfolk venue following a successful debut this year when thousands flocked to sets by the likes of McFly and Olly Murs, alongside a full festival line up and circus performances.

Frontman Mike Skinner has promised a setlist "that's fit but it knows it".

"Some tracks have never been played live, others haven't surfaced in years," Skinner said, adding the album had been "a moment in time - for me, and for everyone who grew up with it".

"I wrote it as a story from beginning to end, even studying screenwriting to shape it without the faintest idea how people would react."

The band has a connection to Norwich - the cover of their 2011 album Computers and Blues features the Grade II-listed ziggurat building at the University of East Anglia.

The announcement comes as part of The Streets' 2026 UK tour, with major headline shows across Margate, Bristol, Manchester, London, Ludlow, Leeds and Essex.

Skinner promised a performance that "pushed things forward for festival storytelling".

Festival Director Ali O'Reilly said fans made it "absolutely clear" they wanted the circus back.

"Announcing The Streets as our first headliner for 2026 is really exciting," she said.

"To see A Grand Don't Come For Free performed in full under the big top will be very special.

Presale tickets go live on 14 October at 10:00 BST, with general sale opening 17 October.
