Drugs worth £200,000 seized in Aberdeenshire town

A man has been charged after drugs worth more than £200,000 were recovered in an Aberdeenshire town.

Police Scotland said officers acting on intelligence found a cannabis cultivation on Tuesday morning in a flat in the Meadowside area of Inverbervie.

The estimated street value of the drugs was just over £200,000.

A 30-year-old man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
