A man and a girl have been taken to hospital following a crash in a West Midlands town.

Officers were called to Lode Lane, Solihull, just before 09:45 GMT on Sunday after reports of a collision involving two vehicles, said West Midlands Police.

"A man in his 30s and a girl have been taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries which are not believed to be life-changing," said a force spokesperson.

The girl is "believed to be around six years old," they added. Anyone with any further information about the collision has been asked to contact police.
