Police have issued an appeal to help identify a man after a Pride flag was stolen from a business in Leicester.

Officers said the theft took place in Avenue Road Extension, Clarendon Park, on 22 February.

Leicestershire Police said a group of people who were believed to have taken the flag were seen heading towards Knighton Lane.

PC Richard Wagg said several lines of inquiry had been undertaken and added the force believed the man, pictured, may be able to assist the investigation.

"If you recognise him and know who he is – or that person is you – then please get in touch," Wagg added.
