Snow has fallen in Surrey, including here in Reigate

Snow has settled in parts of Surrey on Monday morning as temperatures dip below zero.

Flurries have been reported in Reigate, Fetcham, Bagshot and Horley, with images from our Weather Watches coming in from about 04:00 GMT.

Temperatures in Reigate are currently at about -1C and are not expected to exceed two degrees above freezing until Wednesday afternoon.

Surrey is subject to a cold weather alert, meaning the weather is likely to cause a rise in deaths, an increase in demand for health services, and travel delays, the Met Office says.
