Man, 67, charged after suspected stabbing in Paisley

A 67-year-old man has been charged after another man was injured following a disturbance in Paisley.

Police were called to a house in the town's Blackstoun Road just after 19:00 on Monday.

A 66-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries consistent with being stabbed, according to Police Scotland. His condition was described as stable.

The 67-year-old man was traced a short time later at a property in the nearby Westwood Gardens area and arrested. He is expected to appear at court later.
