Emergency services were called to the M25 on Tuesday morning

Traffic was stopped on a section of the M25 following a van fire in Hertfordshire.

At about 09:20 GMT, National Highways said the incident was affecting the motorway anti-clockwise, from junction 22 for St Albans to junction 21A for Watford.

Emergency services were in attendance.

National Highways said all lanes had since reopened but some delays remained in the area.
