Regular farmers' market returns to city centre
Hull City CouncilA regular farmers' market is returning to Hull city centre on Friday.
Hull City Council said the market would be held in Trinity Square and would feature a variety of stalls selling locally made produce.
Subsequent markets would be held on the second Friday of each month, the authority said.
April's market, which runs from 10:00 to 15:00 BST, would also feature family entertainment, a spokesperson added.
Kath Wynne-Hague, head of culture, place and city centre, said: "It is fantastic to see a farmers' market back in Hull city centre.
"We want Hull to be a place where local businesses can flourish and where visitors can enjoy a unique, high-quality experience every time they visit."
