Part of a road has been closed after a vehicle was left partially hanging over the edge of a bridge following a crash.

Suffolk Police said the collision on Boot Street in Great Bealings, Suffolk, involved two vehicles and took place just before 20:30 GMT on Monday.

The fire service was called to the bridge over the River Lark, a few miles from Woodbridge, following an initial report of a vehicle fire.

It said the vehicle on the bridge's edge was recovered to a safe location and there were no casualties inside. National Highways said an inspector would be assessing the damage.
