Police were called to a property in Holbeach on Saturday morning

A man arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found at a property in Holbeach has been released without charge.

The 56-year-old was detained on Saturday morning after officers were called to Tony Worth Close where they discovered the victim, who was aged in her 40s.

A post-mortem examination has now confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances and, pending further toxicology results, a file would be prepared for the coroner, Lincolnshire Police said.

The force added the incident had been referred to the Independent Office of Police Conduct.
