Road rally to include 'spectacular' night stages
BBCThousands of spectators are expected to attend a motorsport event in East Yorkshire in February.
The East Riding Stages Rally, which has been organised by Beverley and District Motor Club, will be held on 21 and 22 February.
For the first time, some of the stages of the closed-road rally will be held during the evening.
Richard Vincent, founder of the rally, said: "The atmosphere on night-time rallying is really exciting. It just adds another dimension to what is already a really exciting event."

The closed-road stage rally is also the opening round of the Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship.
Vincent said last year's event attracted "over 10,000 spectators."
"There were round about three or four thousand on the Westwood. We're expecting sort of similar numbers this year. So yes, it's very well supported."
Event publicity officer, Cat Lund, said: "I'm really excited to have an evening start because the cars are spectacular in the dark."
Road closures will be in place at the different stages across East Yorkshire from 15:00 GMT on 21 February.
The event begins with a ceremonial start at North Bar Within, in Beverley, at 18:00 and is expected to finish at about 19:45.
Road closures will then be in place again from 06:00 on 22 February.
There will be a ceremonial restart at 08:00 at Saturday Market in Beverley, which will also host the dedicated fan zone.
The rally is then expected to finish approximately at 15:00.
Some of the stages will see cars driving through Seaton, Old Ellerby, Swine, and Beverley Westwood.
