Two men have died after a car left a rural road and crashed into a tree.

The emergency services were called to the collision on the A1198, near Hilton, at about 22:25 GMT on Sunday, Cambridgeshire Police said.

The driver, 27, and his passenger, 33, both from Huntingdon, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers were appealing for witnesses, as well as dashcam footage from anyone who saw a silver Volkswagen Golf in the run-up to the single-vehicle crash.
