A woman has been charged after a number of sheep were killed and injured during a dog attack on farmland last summer.

Linda Lawrence, 65, of Assington Green, Suffolk, has been charged with criminal damage, being the owner of a dog worrying livestock and being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.

Ms Lawrence was arrested on 19 July and two dogs were seized and put in police kennels after 35 sheep were killed and 14 others were injured.

She has been bailed and will appear before Ipswich Magistrates' Court on 27 February.
