William and Catherine all smiles in Valentine's Day photograph
Kensington PalaceThe Prince and Princess of Wales have released a previously unseen photo to mark Valentine's Day.
The black and white snap of Prince William and Princess Catherine was taken at Anmer, Norfolk, in April last year by photographer Josh Shinner.
It was released on the couple's social media channels on 14 February - a special but commercialised day for lovers across the world.
The photo was shared with the caption "Happy Valentine's Day" along with a heart emoji.
It is the second year the couple have publicly marked the day, after they shared a photo in 2025.
The still image shared last year was taken from a video released in September 2024, when the princess announced she had ended her cancer treatment.
The picture showed the princess smiling as the prince kissed her on the cheek.
Last year's Christmas card featured a family portrait that showed William and Catherine sitting on lush grass surrounded by spring daffodils, alongside their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The image was taken by Shinner in Norfolk earlier in 2025.
The Christmas card also marked another year in Catherine's gradual return to public life, as she continued her recovery from cancer and chemotherapy treatment.
