"I was going for a paddle on Loch Torridon and the weather was starting to cloud over so I grabbed this shot before launching," says Colin Cowie, of Buckie. "Sun behind me so couldn't really see what I was taking."

Shot of gold: "This photo was taken from coming off The Saddle in Kintail," says Libby Lyle. "My friend Debbie is taking a rest to enjoy the spectacular rainbow, but as I am higher up on the mountain I capture a moment as the rainbow shifts it appears to project from her. The colours seem to match her clothing, it was just so surreal."
