The woman was found at a property on Marley Terrace in Beeston

A woman has died in hospital after she was found by police in a "serious condition" on Christmas Day.

The woman, who has not been named, was discovered at a property in Marley Terrace, in Beeston, Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police said she was taken to hospital for treatment where she later died.

The force said it was treating her death as "unexplained".
