A Telford man accused of romance fraud has appeared in court charged with three additional counts of fraud by false representation.

Marc Cole-Jones, 52, is already facing 22 charges of the same offence involving six women from Cheshire, Lancashire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Manchester, and the West Midlands, all reported to have occurred between 2009 and 2024 and totalling nearly £600,000.

The fresh accusations relate to a new seventh victim.

He has been released on conditional bail and is due to appear before Cheshire Crown Court on Friday.
