A road is to remain closed overnight as police continue to investigate a fatal crash that happened on Saturday.

The A487 Porthmadog bypass in Gwynedd will be out of action throughout Monday while officers are at the scene.

No further details were given by North Wales Police, and Chief Inspector Trystan Bevan said: "I offer my deepest condolences to the families at this difficult time."

Officers want to hear from anyone who was travelling on the A487 between 21:00 GMT and 21:40 on Saturday 20 December.
