A cyclist is being treated for life-threatening injuries after a crash in Leeds, police said.

Emergency services were called at 08:50 BST to reports of a serious collision between a bike and van on Kirkstall Road.

The male cyclist was taken to hospital and the road has been closed for investigations between Washington Street and a nearby petrol station, West Yorkshire Police said.
