Floral tributes left for two women killed in crash

Floral tributes have been left for two women who died after a crash between two cars.

The incident, which took place on the A48 in Minsterworth, Gloucestershire, shortly before 14:30 BST on Tuesday, involved a red Ford Focus and a grey Vauxhall Astra.

A woman in her 50s, who was driving the Ford, and a woman in her 20s, driving the Vauxhall, died at the scene.

Gloucestershire Police said their next of kin had been informed.

The road was closed throughout the afternoon and into the evening for investigation work, but has since reopened.

Police have asked anyone with information about the crash to contact them.
