Man dies after sustaining serious injuries at caravan park
GoogleA man has died after being found seriously injured at a caravan park in East Lothian.
Police, fire engines and ambulances rushed to Thurston Manor Leisure Park near Dunbar on Tuesday following reports of an injured worker.
The 34-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died two days later.
Police Scotland are investigating the incident to establish the full circumstances and it was reported to the Health and Safety Executive.
East Lothian Council is aware of the incident and liaising with police.
They said it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.
A report has also been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 2.21pm on Tuesday, 10 February to assist emergency service partners at an incident at commercial premises in Dunbar.
"Operations Control mobilised three appliances and special resources."
BBC Scotland News has approached the Scottish Ambulance Service for comment.
