Stretch of southern route shuts for road repairs
GoogleA section of a busy route in the south of the Isle of Man has shut for carriageway repairs.
Main Road in Colby has shut between the junction with Croit y Caley to the junction with Ballakilpheric Road, from 08:30 GMT for the duration of the day.
People will be able to access their homes but delays may be experienced, the Department of Infrastructure (DoI) has warned.
The work involves filling in any pot holes or cracks before it is resurfaced later this summer.
Motorists have been asked to ensure that any parked vehicles are moved away from areas that have been marked for repair.
Meanwhile, Arbory Road will shut on Sunday between the junctions with Farrants Park and the Castletown Bypass from 08:30.
Those repairs will also consist of a series of paver patches.
