Men found guilty after stabbing in caravan park
Warwickshire PoliceFive men have been found guilty after a man in his 20s was attacked at a caravan site in Nuneaton.
Warwickshire Police said just after midnight on 9 May 2025, multiple men drove to The Griff site and entered a caravan where a man and woman were staying.
The force said they began attacking the man, who ran out of the caravan and was stabbed multiple times before the group fled the site. The woman was able to escape through a window.
Investigations led to the arrest of four members of the Galbraith family - James, 29, Michael, 27, Thomas, 24, and Anthony, 21. They were each charged with attempted murder and making threats to kill.
Warwickshire Police said before the trial started, it received statements saying the victim had been mistaken when identifying the Galbraiths as being responsible.
After further investigation, the force arrested and charged James Galbraith, 49, and Thomas McDonagh, 54, with conspiring to pervert the course of justice.
Warwickshire PoliceAfter a seven week trial at Warwick Crown Court, five of the men were found guilty on all their counts, the force said.
It added that the judge directed the jury to find James Galbraith, 29, not guilty of attempted murder and making threats to kill.
Their sentencing date it yet to be fixed.

- James Galbraith, 29, found not guilty of attempted murder and making threats to kill
- Michael Galbraith, 27, found guilty of attempted murder and making threats to kill
- Thomas Galbraith, 24, found guilty of attempted murder and making threats to kill
- Anthony Galbraith, 21, found guilty of attempted murder and making threats to kill
- James Galbraith, 49, found guilty of conspiring to pervert the course of justice
- Thomas McDonagh, 54, found guilty of conspiring to pervert the course of justice
