Multi-vehicle crash closes northbound section of M1

The M1 has been closed northbound in Northamptonshire following a multi-vehicle crash.

National Highways said it happened between junction 16 (A45) at Daventry, and junction 18 (A5), for Crick.

All lanes have since reopened after a sweeper was needed to treat a spillage.

Inrix Travel said it involved three cars and two vans.
