Missing 90-year-old with dementia found

Police have found a 90-year-old woman with dementia who had gone missing overnight in a suburb of Dundee.

An appeal for information was issued to help trace the woman after she was seen in the early hours of Thursday morning in the Seafield Road area of Broughty Ferry.

Insp Alan Baird said the disappearance was "completely out of character" and concerns were growing for her welfare.

Police Scotland later confirmed that she had been found.
