Man in court after police find £500k cannabis farm

A man has appeared in court after cannabis said to be worth more than £500,000 was discovered in Peterhead.

The cultivation - which had an estimated value of around £587,250 - was found on Sunday inside a building in the Aberdeenshire town's Narrow Lane.

Kaspars Kreipans, 42, appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Monday. He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
