Two men arrested after high street assault

Two men have been arrested after a man was taken to hospital following an assault on a high street, police have said.

Kent Police said officers were called to Dartford High Street just before 23:00 GMT on Friday.

A 28-year-old man had sustained injuries that were not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening, said the force.

A 33-year-old man from Dartford and 40-year-old man from Plumstead were arrested in connection with the incident, it said.

A cordon at the scene has since been removed, police added.
