A 33-year-old man has appeared in court charged with raping a teenage girl.

Lincolnshire Police said they were called to reports of a serious sexual assault in Boston in the early hours of Tuesday.

James Savage, from Boston, is also charged with child abduction, making threats with a bladed article and taking indecent images.

He appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court earlier and was remanded in custody until he appears at Lincoln Crown Court on 16 April.
