Boy, 14, racially and religiously assaulted
GoogleOfficers are investigating a racially and religiously-aggravated assault on a 14-year-old boy, said police.
The teenager was assaulted by up to six people in Pleck Park, Walsall, at about 17:00 GMT on Friday.
"We are taking this very seriously, and our investigators are carrying out fast-track inquiries including reviewing CCTV footage to identify those involved," said West Midlands Police.
Those involved in the assault were said to be wearing all black clothing. The force has appealed for information and set up a Major Incident Public Portal for images, videos and information.
"We understand the concern, and our officers are linked in with key members of the community," a force spokesperson added.

Hate crime incidents can also be reported through Walsall Safe Spaces centres such as True Vision, Stop Hate UK and Crimestoppers, police added.
