Police say woman's death in Inverness is 'unexplained'

Police say they are treating a woman's death in Inverness on Boxing Day as unexplained.

Her body was found at about 13:30 on Friday in a property in Merkinch Place.

Police Scotland said her next of kin had been informed and inquiries were ongoing,

A spokesperson said a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
