Man admits throwing corrosive fluid in man's face
BBCA man has admitted throwing a corrosive fluid at another man with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Humberside Police said officers were called to an argument between two men who knew each other in Castleton Avenue at about 13:00 GMT on 23 November, where a corrosive substance was thrown in the face of one of the men.
Liam Best, 21, of Cropton Road, Hull, pleaded guilty at Hull Crown Court earlier to throwing the fluid.
He has been remanded in custody to appear for sentencing on 12 February.
Following the attack, Humberside Police said the other man was taken to hospital to receive treatment to injuries to his face which were "not thought to be life-changing at this time".
