Child taken to hospital with head injury after crash
BBCA child was taken to hospital with a head injury after a collision in Ipswich, police said.
Suffolk Police was called to Ranelagh Road by the ambulance service at 14:19 GMT on Tuesday following reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a large goods vehicle.
A police spokesperson said the child's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, but they remained in hospital.
The driver of the vehicle involved has been assisting police with their inquiries.
