BBCA man has denied damaging a string of properties on a street in Derby.
Police were called to the scene on Eden Street, Alvaston, after what was described as a house explosion on 10 June.
Paul Solway pleaded not guilty to six counts of damaging property with intent to endanger life and six counts of damaging property being reckless as to whether life was endangered during a court hearing on Friday.
The 57-year-old, of no fixed address, is set to go on trial from 26 January next year.
The charges all relate to six properties on the same street.
Mr Solway appeared via video-link at the crown court hearing, which was held before a judge sitting at Chesterfield Magistrates' Court.
He had also previously been charged with one count of rape, but this has been discontinued.
