Woman in critical condition after being hit by lorry

A woman is in a critical condition after being hit by a lorry in Armagh.

Police said the crash happened on the Gosford Road just after 10:20 GMT on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services attended the scene, and the pedestrian was later taken to hospital for treatment.

The road, which was closed for a number of hours, has now reopened to traffic.

Enquiries are ongoing, and witnesses or those with information about the incident have been asked to contact police.
