Police seized plants in the raids in Eastbourne and Lower Dicker

A man and woman have been arrested after police carried out drug raids in East Sussex.

Sussex Police raided a property in Lower Dicker, near Hailsham, and a site in Polegate on Monday. They carried out a warrant at a unit in Fort Road, Eastbourne, the following day.

Officers seized a "large quantity" of suspected cannabis plants and drugs, a suspected imitation firearm, a knuckle duster and cash in Lower Dicker, the force said.

A man, 38, and a woman, 36, were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of a Class B drug and bailed pending inquiries.
