Man charged with sexually assaulting teenager

A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in Cornwall.

Yordan Stanchev, 26, of no fixed abode in Launceston, is accused of assaulting the teenager in an alleyway in the town on Sunday evening.

He is set to appear at Truro Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Devon and Cornwall Police said they had increased their presence in the area.
