Man completes seven Iron triathlons in seven days
BBCA Jersey man has finished seven Iron distance triathlon challenges in seven days to raise money for four charities.
Peter Wright, 52, swam, cycled, and ran nearly 1,000 miles (1,609km) for the challenge which came to an end on Thursday.
He has raised more than £11,000 for CLIC Sargent Jersey, Kezia's Fund, Lily McGarry's Fund and The LouLou Race Foundation.
An Iron distance triathlon requires athletes to swim 2.4-miles (3.8km), cycle 112-miles (180km) and complete a 26.2-mile (42.2km) marathon distance run.

Mr Wright was cheered over the finish line by friends who had been supporting him through the challenge.
He said it was "unbelievably tough to get it done" and he was "just chuffed to bits to finish ".
Mr Wright added: "I was hoping just to raise as much as I can and now I've heard it's £11,000 I'd just like to push it even higher if I can."
He has a history of completing endurance challenges for charity. In 2023 he rowed the Atlantic with a friend in 54 days.

Antonia Rubio from CLIC Sargent was there when Mr Wright finished the challenge and cheered him on along the route.
Ms Rubio said: "Pete is an incredible human being. It's been amazing to see how many people have come out to support him even at the end.".
"He's raised an incredible amount of money for the four charities and it will help CLIC Sargent help parents pay for flights and food when their children are in Southampton having cancer treatment."
All the money raised will be split evenly between the charities.

Chris Stephens coached Mr Wright through the challenge and joined him to cross the finish line.
He said: "It's been amazing. To do seven [Iron triathlons} back-to-back was a whole new challenge."
"It was pretty special to be honest and a moment that will live with me for a long time I think."
