Three lanes of the M1 were closed in Bedfordshire after a crash.

At about 07:30 BST on Tuesday National Highways said the northbound stretch of the motorway was closed at junction 12 for Flitwick, but the fourth lane had since reopened.

Lanes one, two and three remained closed while a clean-up operation took place, it said on X.

All lanes reopened at about 09:41.
