A review focusing on lifelong vocational learning opportunities has launched in Jersey.

The Children, Education and Home Affairs (CEHA) Scrutiny Panel said the review would aim to identify what was available currently - including apprenticeships, professional development courses and on-the-job training.

The panel said the review would assess current legislation, regulation and policy that aimed to "strengthen" the offers and the structure, funding and effectiveness of apprenticeship schemes.

CEHA said it would also look to identify examples of good practice from other areas. Islanders and businesses are being asked to contact the panel with their experiences.
