Men steal thousands from village post office

Three men wearing balaclavas stole thousands of pounds from a village post office in four minutes, police said.

Cambridgeshire Police said the men, dressed in black, broke into the store on Main Street, Witchford, at about 01:42 BST on Tuesday.

Once inside the post office, which is in a former Baptist church, they removed a safe that held thousands of pounds in cash and left in a white Ford Ranger at 01:46.

Police have appealed to the public for any information and said an investigation was ongoing.

Police are appealing to anyone with video doorbell, dashcam footage or who spotted suspicious activity in the area
