Man charged with murder over death of baby

A man has been charged with murder over the death of a 13-week-old baby.

The child was found injured at an address in Queen Street, Ramsgate, on 15 July 2022, Kent Police said.

The child died in hospital later that day.

On Monday, Tyla Wharmby was charged with murder and grievous bodily harm with intent.

The 24-year-old, of Prestedge Avenue, Ramsgate, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
