Unlicensed events cause issues with noise, traffic and anti-social behaviour, police say

A van full of sound equipment has been seized by police after officers were called to an unlicensed music event.

Norfolk Police said an estimated 150 to 200 people were on the site near Grimes Graves - which is in Lynford - in the early hours of Sunday.

No arrests had been made and inquiries were ongoing, it added.

"Unlicensed music events are organised without permission and without proper safety measures in place," said Insp Matt Hendry.

"They create noise, traffic issues, and are anti-social for residents which is why we will take robust action when they are identified.

"Early intervention is key in disrupting these events and vigilance from the public and landowners is always much appreciated."
